Foundation
Upson’s Health Foundation exists to aid, assist and support the medical, charitable and educational services of Upson Regional Medical Center. Patient revenues alone cannot fund the growth necessary to serve our community in the decades ahead. Upson continually enhances its programs, services and technologies to ensure that the health care needs of area residents are met...now and in the future. That is why your support of the Health Foundation is so important.
Ways to Give
The Health Foundation accepts donations of any amount in the variety of forms, including securities, real estate, inheritances and other gifts-in-kind. Donors may also designate gifts for specific departments, services or equipment and all donations are tax-deductible.

History
The Health Foundation of Upson Regional Medical Center officially began in 2006 with the receipt of a $2.16 million dollar gift from Community Enterprises, Inc. "The Trustees voted unanimously to donate the entire assets of the trust fund to seed the newly formed foundation," said Mr. Neil H. Hightower, Sr., Chairman of Community Enterprises. " We felt that the Upson Regional Medical Center Foundation is a very positive move for the hospital and will broaden the fund raising reach of the organization." Community Enterprises and the Hightower family formed the Upson County Hospital Trust Fund in 1962. Since the opening contribution, the Health Foundation has received generous donations and gifts from businesses and citizens of our community: donations given, beyond the original, currently exceed $55,000
